I made an attempt to film Toni Morrison’s story on the fly. Yes, I was nervous. Toni has a Nobel , Pulitzer and is very much my elder. But I had to say hello as she was leaving the restaurant we were at. She was kind and declined and said be “happy” in 2012. But instead of using a still from the video, well,I thought I would share the 16 second picture (moment).

Her novels are known for their epic themes, vivid dialogue, and richly detailed characters. Among her best known novels are The Bluest Eye, Song of Solomon andBeloved. She also was commissioned to write the libretto for a new opera, Margaret Garner, first performed in 2005.

Henry and Daryl are childhood friends from Jamaica. After High School, Henry’s family moved to London and Daryl’s moved to NYC. Over a year ago, they launched The Hotel Specialist in NYC. They are hospitality “headhunters” for celebrities, fashion personalities and executives. Whether the client is 1 person or group, they promise the best service and price in NYC. .

Henry acquired his experience by working for the family business, RA Travel, which handles high-end clientele such as Justin Bieber, Alicia Keys in regards to cars, private jets, etc. Henry focused on the hotel side of the business. They started the business a year and half ago. Henry is the face of the company. Daryl is the business behind the company.
